Green Time (Deep Focus) is a fully phone-free session — selected apps are blocked using Screen Time. Yellow Time (Availability) is a casual session where occasional phone use is okay; apps are not blocked.
Why do I need Screen Time permission?
Quality Time uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to block apps during Green Time sessions. When prompted, tap Allow so the App can apply your chosen app shields. This requires a physical iPhone or iPad.
App blocking isn't working. What should I do?
Screen Time blocking requires the Family Controls entitlement and a physical device — it does not work in the iOS Simulator. Make sure you've granted Screen Time permission in Settings, selected apps to block in Quality Time, and started a Green Time session.
What is a Live Activity?
When you start a session, Quality Time can show your active session on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, so you can see who you're spending time with at a glance.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
No. All your people, sessions, and settings are stored locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual people or sessions within the App. To remove all data, uninstall Quality Time from your device.
